Pricing & Shipping

Priced by the injector. Your invoice breaks out labor and parts so you can see the math.

Service Pricing

Every per-injector price is all-in: parts and labor, parts billed at our cost, nothing added later.

Pricing is per injector based on type. Every cleaning service includes a detailed diagnostic report with before and after flow rates, spray pattern assessment, and variance analysis.

ServicePriceDetails
Top Feed Injector$25/eaThe most standard form of injector on the market. If you don't know what type of injector you have, it's most likely a top feed.
Side Feed Injector$30/eaYamaha HPDI, Mercury EFI, and similar side feed designs.
GDI Injector$30/eaGasoline direct injection. Specialized high-pressure cleaning and flow testing.
OptiMax Air Injector$36/eaMercury OptiMax series. Specialized cleaning and flow testing procedure.

Flow Test Only

$15 per injector. Testing without cleaning.

Spray pattern and flow rate testing on the ASNU bench, with the same diagnostic report you get from a full service. No ultrasonic cleaning, no back-flush, no new parts. If your injectors test within 4% variance, cleaning may not be necessary, and we contact you with the results before doing anything further. Most sets come in for clean and test, but flow test only is there when you want the numbers first.

What's Included

Every cleaning service includes the full workup: visual inspection, ohm and resistance testing, leak down testing, spray pattern analysis, precision flow testing, ultrasonic cleaning with back-flush cycles, and new o-rings, seals, and filter baskets. Your injectors come back rebuilt with fresh components, not just cleaned.

All parts, including reman kits, are included in the per-injector price.

What We Service

We service marine gasoline fuel injectors across the major brands: Mercury and MerCruiser, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Tohatsu. Outboard, sterndrive, and inboard. Top feed, side feed, GDI (gasoline direct injection), and OptiMax air injectors. If your marine engine runs gas injectors and the brand is not on this list, we still service them.

We do not currently service: Diesel injectors or Evinrude E-TEC direct injection.

Shipping

Two ways to get them to us. Most people use the prepaid UPS QR code below. No printer, and nothing to pay at the counter. If you want to use your own carrier, there is a PDF form instead.

Paperless Shipping (UPS QR Code)

Fill out our online shipping form and we'll email you a UPS QR code. Take it to any UPS location, they'll scan the code, print your label, and ship your package. No printer needed. Inbound shipping is charged on your service invoice after your injectors are cleaned and returned.

Print a Shipping Form (PDF)

Download our PDF shipping form, fill it out by hand, and include it in the box with your injectors. Ship with any carrier you prefer: UPS, FedEx, USPS. You handle inbound shipping and costs directly with the carrier of your choice.

Return Shipping

We ship your cleaned injectors back to you via UPS Ground. Return shipping is a line item on your service invoice. Tracking information is emailed to you when your package ships.

By default, return shipping mirrors your inbound selection. If you chose insurance going in, we apply insurance going back. If you declined, we don't add it on the return.

Shipping Insurance

The shipping form defaults to $1,000 declared value coverage through UPS on both inbound and return shipments. UPS Ground runs roughly $10 each way; the $1,000 insurance adds about $17 per direction on top of that. All shipping rates are UPS rates, no markup. Both shipping and insurance appear as line items on your invoice.

You may elect to decline insurance during checkout. If you do, UPS standard carrier liability applies (typically limited to $100). Dialed Injectors is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit when insurance has been declined. This applies to both inbound and return shipping.

If you need coverage above $1,000, contact us and we'll work with you on additional declared value.

Payment

You pay once, at the end. No deposit, and with the prepaid label, nothing at the UPS counter. One invoice after the work is done, with your diagnostic report attached. You see the before-and-after numbers before you pay.

Questions Worth Asking Any Shop

Mail-in injector work is easy to compare once you know what to ask. These are the questions we would ask any shop, including us. Send them to any shop and ask for an upfront quote.

  • Do you flow test before and after, and do I get the actual numbers?
  • Do I see the diagnostic report before I pay or after?
  • Are parts billed at cost or marked up?
  • Is there a surcharge for paying by card?
  • If an injector cannot be saved, am I charged for it?
  • What does shipping cost both ways, and is it marked up?

Turnaround Time

Most orders are completed within 2 business days of receipt. That's from the day we open your package to the day your injectors ship back. Transit time depends on your location and the carrier used.

If we find anything during testing that requires your input, we'll contact you. Otherwise, we will keep you updated on progress via email.

Communication

We keep you in the loop without flooding your inbox. Here's when you'll hear from us:

Email: An "On the Bench" email when your injectors start service, a Stripe invoice with your diagnostic report attached when service is complete, and tracking information when your injectors ship back (same business day as payment).

Phone: If something unexpected could change your cost or timeline, we call you first. (864) 400-5775.

SMS (optional): Want pictures and videos of your injectors going through the process? Share your mobile number and we'll send real-time progress updates.

Satisfaction

If your injectors come back and something doesn't seem right, call us. We'll look at the data together and figure out what's going on. If we missed something, we'll make it right.

Some injectors are past saving: internal wear, a bad coil, a cracked body. We'll tell you which one, label it so there's no guessing, ship it back with the rest of your set at no charge, and point you to a replacement. You're not charged for an injector we couldn't bring back. No sense charging you for bad news.

30-Day Hold Policy

We hold completed injectors for 30 days after invoicing. If we don't hear back within 30 days, we'll reach out one more time before closing the order out. If you need more time, just let us know. Don't ghost us. We're happy to work with you.

Your Information

We collect your name, email, phone number, and shipping address to process your order and communicate about your service. That's it. We don't sell your information, we don't share it with third parties, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your permission. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
